We know when Aboriginal people have a say on issues that affect them, we get better outcomes. 

The NSW Labor Government has committed to Closing the Gap targets ranging across 17 areas including; education, employment, health and wellbeing, justice, safety, housing, land and waters, languages, digital inclusion. 

We continue to work in genuine partnership with Aboriginal communities to improve the lives of over 300,000 Aboriginal people living in our NSW communities through real, practical and targeted change at local level. 

It is important to ensure our goals and targets surrounding First Nations Peoples and communities are met and that we maintain sustained and developing positive change and action in our state moving forward.
