Dr MARJORIE O'NEILL (Coogee) — Today I would like to take the opportunity to congratulate Danny Hui, the founder of Sameview, for all of his work, and his nomination as a finalist for Westfield Local Heroes Bondi Junction. Danny developed Sameview to help his family coordinate everyone involved in the care of his youngest son, Monty, who has Cerebral Palsy, Hydrocephalus, unilateral hearing Loss, and low muscle tone, which severely affects his movement. Sameview is an online platform that gets everyone from a family's team on the same page, talking to each other, working with each other so that the family's goals can be achieved. Danny started working on the project fulltime several years ago and the application, has won several awards since. Following a surge during COVID-19 they now have more than 1000 users, and now that half of them are clinicians. Sameview is perfect example of how technology and innovation support families and communities, and I would like to again congratulate and thank Danny for his nomination, and all of his work in this area.
