Dr MARJORIE O'NEILL (Coogee) — I would like to take this opportunity wish the Randwick Rugby Club, better known as the Galloping Greens all the very best for the 2020 season. After what must be the longest pre-season in the club's history, the club's off to a great start to the season with wins across grade and colts. 2020 has been a year with precious little to smile about, and so the return of community sport and the mighty Galloping Greens is something that needs to be celebrated. I would especially like to thank all the volunteers who have contributed to the club in the build up to the start of this season. It would not have been easy to redesign every training session and club process to make it pandemic safe and so I wish to thank each and every volunteer for making this season possible. I would also like acknowledge the work of the Club's General Manager, Mark Harrison and Marketing Manager, Melissa Stone for the way they have prepared the club to be COVID Safe and to get trainings and fixtures back underway. After months of uncertainty it is great to finally say, UP THE WICKS!
