That this House:

Recognises that the only female specific hospital in New South Wales, the Royal Hospital for Women, does not have its own mammogram machine.

Notes that the sharing arrangement currently operating between the Royal Hospital for Women and BreastScreen NSW has led to unacceptable patient waiting times.

Notes that due to a lack of Government support, the Royal Hospital for Women Foundation has begun raising funds to purchase a mammogram machine.

Calls on the Minister for Health and Medical Research to make the funds available immediately to make up this deficiancy.
